  Main Tasks: nitially shipyard work in Italy, undertook/supervised all tasks required to prepare the vessel for owners use. Maintenance / servicing of all machinery and equipment (no records on board). Insurance and registration brought up to date. Yacht taken out of water post season and began shipyard period for minor refit and general maintenance in preparation for the next season. Yacht mothballed as owner decided against using in coming season.

• Period: August 2007 - December 2009
  Unit: 27m Pershing Motor yacht with surface drives
  Use, area: Private 27M M/Y – USA, Bahamas, France, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro
  Role held: Captain
  Main Tasks: Day to day navigation and all aspects of yacht and are management including guest well beingHired by vessel manager to join this yacht as Captain on a seasonal contract for the USA season. Supervised engine replacement post season as well as minor interior modifications at Florida shipyard. Yacht was shipped to France for the following med season and re-joined her there. Extensive owner and guest use during the season. Operated for much of the time as a ‘chase’ boat to two other yachts in the fleet. Contract ended when yacht was taken in Riva shipyard in La Spezia for full paint job and other extensive work.

• Period: February 2007 - July 2007

  Use, area: M/Y Kaleido Beau – Livorno, Italy
  Role held: First Officer
  Main Tasks: Joined this yacht on a short contract for refit period at Benetti shipyard in Livorno, Italy Assisted captain with all aspects of crew and work management including documentation and safety protocols. Assigned to ensure that all equipment on board (safety and other) was in order and serviced.

• Period: April 2006 - September 2006
  Unit: M/Y 26M Moonen – Holland, UK, Spain, Italy, France, Croatia, Corsica, Sardinia, Malta
  Use, area: M/Y Far Niente 26M
  Role held: Captain
  Main Tasks: Hired for 1 season and joined this new build in Holland to oversee the final month of the build prior to completion. Delivered the yacht to Spain (Mallorca) for full provisioning and final preparations to welcome the owner on board for the season. Cruised extensively for 3 months with the owner and guests on board before returning to Mallorca.

  Role held: First Officer
  Main Tasks: Interviewed and hired in Fort Lauderdale, USA to assist with preparation and delivery of this yacht from Turkey to Georgia, USA for the new owner. Offer had been accepted by the Turkish government (seized yacht) from buyer (my employer) but never concluded and all crew were laid off after 13 months on board.
