Assisting Chief Engineer and inspectors during flag, coast guard, class inspections and Class renewal survey. Ensuring that spare parts, gas bottles, chemicals and oils are kept and ordered for safety critical equpiment; Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and maintaining accurate records as Engine Logbook, ORB, Oil to sea interface, watewater disposal, bunkering, etc. 3 months as Hotel Engineer at interim responsible for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, provision refrigeration systems, cleaning/sanitation of ducts, chlorination systems for potable water distribution, far point, bunkering system, backflow preventers, pool, and whirpools, lifeboat and engines, etc.
