Skills and abilities

• I currently reside in Hawaii looking to move to Italy in 2025.
  In January 2024, I made the decision to leave my home in Nevada and pursue my ambitions of exploring the world while building a career in the maritime industry. I moved to Hawaii, where I’ve developed a deep passion for leaving places better than I found them and for embracing the culture of the people I now call friends. Immersing myself in the history and way of life here has only strengthened my desire to continue expanding my horizons. As part of this journey, I’ve chosen to live in Italy rather than simply visit, so I can fully embrace the culture and the experience while pursuing my career on the water.
  Further Abilities

  Through a life-long career in customer service, I’ve honed my communication and problem-solving skills, allowing me to interact with people from all walks of life and ensure a positive experience for guests. I'm also an experienced free diver and swimmer, which enhances my ability to navigate and respond to aquatic environments. Additionally, my knowledge of local history and culture allows me to connect with others and enrich the experience of those around me.
  Soft skills

  I have strong listening skills and am highly responsive to the captain’s requests, ensuring smooth operations onboard. I excel at leading by example and managing teams with a focus on collaboration and building positive dynamics. I am also skilled at prioritizing and managing tasks efficiently, always ensuring safety is a top priority for everyone on board, including guests.
  Organizational skills

  I am highly organized and meticulous in the maintenance and care of equipment, ensuring everything is in top working order both on the boat and in the pier shed. I also take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the boat, keeping all areas spotless and ensuring a comfortable, safe environment for everyone on board.
  Technical skills

  I have hands-on experience with dry dock work, including sanding the deck and reapplying non-skid material, painting both the deck and hull, and de-rusting and refurbishing various parts of the vessel. I’ve also worked with fiberglass, gaining an introduction to its application on boats. While working on a sailboat, I manufactured and replaced standing rigging for the mast and took care of hull maintenance by cleaning and removing underwater growth and barnacles.
