In 2000, Yachts.it was born as an innovative platform aiming to become a point of reference in the nautical world. Our goal was ambitious: to connect charter companies, sailing schools, and brokers with enthusiasts and professionals in the sector, providing detailed information and tailored services.
Within Yachts.it, we dedicated a section to seafarers—a space where maritime professionals could showcase themselves through simple profiles featuring a photo, a list of work experiences, and their certifications. It was a first step toward offering a service tailored to those who work at the heart of the maritime industry. However, we soon realized that this small section deserved much more.
In 2005, we decided to take a leap forward. The seafarer section branched out from Yachts.it to become an independent project: Marineria.it. We transferred all the resumes to this new platform, enriching the service and transforming it into a unique meeting point for the maritime community.
Since then, Marineria.it has evolved significantly. To ensure the quality of resumes and meet the standards of modern yachting, we dedicate considerable time to screening candidates. Our team personally contacts them, offering guidance for their registration and helping them present themselves in the best possible way.
At the same time, we provide dedicated support to yacht owners and captains searching for crew on our platform. We assist them in crafting effective job offers and, when needed, we write job postings for them or offer personalized advice.
Our mission remains to highlight the skills of those who work at sea and create concrete opportunities for both crew members and shipowners, ensuring a professional and efficient experience for everyone involved.
