    Knowledge on the safety of navigation and pollution prevention • Experience about anti-pirates navigation • Knowledge on the use of all bridge apparatus • Knowledge on how to create a passage plan • Knowledge on how to update ENC charts onboard using NAVIGATE system • Knowledge on how to perform watchkeeping duties, use on all navigational equipment and cargo equipment • Knowledge on fire system onboard • Knowledge on how to send ship documents to authorites before and after ship departure. • Knowledge on the use and function of SART and EPIRB • Knowledge on First Aid operations • Knowledge on the use of rescue boats and lifeboats • Knowledge about leadership and teamwork • Knowledge on the hierarchy onboard
