  During my first season in the yacht industry, I covered the position of a sole stewardess on a luxury 108 ft private motor yacht. Aiming to work exclusively as a deckhand and on sailing boats, I chose to be part of the crew of a 95ft Southerwind as a stew/deck. Nowadays I’m in my third year working as a deckhand on a Jongert 88ft where I had the opportunity to work, for three winter seasons in the shipyard (STP Palma di Maiorca). On this yacht named Annabelle II, my main tasks are maintenance of the deck, teak, rigging, sailing gears and onboard systems, cleaning, polishing and washing down, organization and management of the sail/bosun lockers and lazaret. While when we are at sea: assistance during maneuvers, anchoring, watch stands during daily and night navigation. During these years on Annabelle II I discovered a real passion for the engineer duties, leading me to do the AEC-1 exam and to an intense personal studying. I see this as my first step in the engineering world, I am willing to improve and learn, so much so that in my free time I am working with MYT Mallorca and ABYS Marine Hydraulic Service, a companies which deals with hydraulic and electric on yachts. This summer Annabelle II hitted a rock, due to this accident she’s doing a big refit and important interventions has been made.
