    Main Tasks: Responsible for the safety and comfort of up to 26 guests and crew, sailing around Sicily: the Messina strait, the Ionian Sea, the Islands on the Thyrrenian sea and Malta. I was also responsible for the ordinary and extra-ordinary maintenance of the vessel and her 2 engines, generator, 2 watermakers and of course every system on board.

    Main Tasks: As First Mate I was responsible for the safe accomplishment of the deck operations, day and night watchkeeping, watchkeeping at anchor, assisting the Master in every operation and keeping an accurate record for the maintenance and checks of LSA equipment and on board machinery. I also made sure every crew and passenger was familiar with alarms, muster stations, drills and location and use of LSA by briefing each person when joining the yacht and at the first available opportunity, safety of the vessel's navigation, safety of the passengers and crew and the safety of all operations.

    Main Tasks: Employed as Master for the delivery of a 21 mt exploration yacht from Greece to Germany, responsible for the evaluation of the weather forecast in relation to the planification of the passage, for the pre departure checks at a short term notice of the delivery and for the underway maintenance of the two Cummins 6 cylinder common rail turbo diesel 330 HP243 KW engines, one diesel generator Northern light 20 KW with hydraulic PTO, one diesel generator northern light 4.5 KW, fuel polishing system ESI 1000 RE, central oil change system, watermaker and all the Navigation equipment including communication equipment VHF, satellite communication, SSB, monitoring the ship to ship and ship to shore communications within the very busy Strait of Gibraltar and Messina Strait.

    Main Tasks: Employed as Crew on board a anchor handler working around the construction of a nuclear power station in Hinkley point along side the Wave Walker jack up position in and out from shore for piling, working in weather and tidal restrictions in day time and night time in shallow waters. The environmental concern of the area as it is part of a Site of Special Scientific interests was the protection of the rock formations, the water quality and most importantly constantly proving the local sea weed with water. This was done by moving the watering pipes according to the height of the tide, the pipes were then connected to pups ashore and the process was in constant monitoring through radio communication with the ashore personnel.

    Main Tasks: Employed as Mate on board various size vessels gaining experience and being able to both run and manage the deck and also to delegate my deckhands. General maintenance and mooring of the vessel, craning operations, rope handling, cargo handling and securing, anchoring, transfers of technicians to and from offshore assets, engine checks and maintenance of engines and of all systems on board a vessel i.e. black/grey water, hydraulic systems, electric systems, air conditioning, etc. I gained experience with MTU v12 engines, Rolls Royce Jets system, Ultra Jet system and CPP system. I am familiar and confident on deck, in the engine room and on the bridge from watches to maneuvering the vessel, IMM, bridge management paperwork. With the development of the industry and the increase in size of the vessel the crew were trained in the IMDG code and ISPS, especially working around very busy shipping port as Liverpool.

Whilst on board MY Kisses I was also involved in the vessel's 15 year survey and subsequent work period where I was involved in all aspects of deck maintenance and repairs.

I have been working in the workboat industry as deckhand in the beginning and then as mate/engineer on windfarm CTVs, anchor handling work boats for a jack up Barge, but also in the superyachts industry as deckhand, deckstew and then as Mate, working my way up to Captain. I have Basic and Advanced Polar code training.I am a hardworking person, clean and details orientated, confident on deck and on the bridge, I am passionate about my job, easy going, flexible and I have high respect of the ship's hierarchy.
