Skills and abilities

  • Deck officer with strong dedication to the safety tasks and motivation to learn and grow professionally in the role of deck officer. In my experience I had the opportunity to sail in different places and on different ships making me very quick to settle in and learn the new way of working. my ambition has always been to work on ships used for the transport of passengers and therefore cruises or yachts.
    Further Abilities
in my career I have always worked on different types of ships, so I think my quality in adapting and quickly understanding the different type of work and organization is a great asset in a team.
    Soft skills
Although I have little experience on passenger ships, I have never had problems with my colleagues and I understand very well that teamwork is essential in our work.
    Organizational skills
In my experience on Grimaldi ships I had to develop great organizational skills to manage all the documents imposed by the SMS, the work given from my assignment and those of ordinary maintenance required by the Chief mate.
