• Greetings, I’m Riccardo, 24 years old from the north of Italy, currently based in Viareggio where I'm working on a 50m MY gaining hands-on experience in yacht maintenance for the shipyard period, including polishing, teak cleaning, washdowns, knot handling, rust removing, and other tasks detailed in my CV. I began my professional career at 18 by founding a hospitality startup, where I developed strong problem-solving skills, working under pressure, and a client-focused mindset. After that, I worked as a Technical Operator maintaining textile machinery, which taught me the importance of precision, cleanliness, and attention to detail—qualities I know are crucial aboard a yacht. In 2023, I ventured into website development by starting my second company, but my passion for the sea brought me back to boating. Over the past two years, I’ve gained experience driving small boats during the summer seasons. I obtained my Italian Boat License in December 2023. Additionally, in June 2024, I completed deckhand training, which included STCW, ENG1, PDSD, and RYA PBL2. I am also a PADI Rescue Diver with BLSD and Oxygen Provider. I am a fit, energetic, and enthusiastic individual looking to make a positive impact as part of your crew. I’m highly motivated to learn and committed to building a long-term career in the industry.
