I am currently the captain of a 2 year old 66ft carbon cruise-racer used for both private cruising and high-profile regattas such as the Rolex Cup, Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, and the 151 Miglia to name some. I hold the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (commercially endorsed), along with several additional qualifications including RYA SRC, Powerboat Level 2, PPR, Diesel Engine Course, Radar Course, Mental Health & Wellbeing Training for Seafarers, STCW Basic Safety Training, and the Certificate of Proficiency in Designated Security Duties. I also possess the German SBF-See, SKS, and SRC licenses. With over four years of experience as a full-time sailing instructor, I bring a strong foundation in sail training and seamanship. Previously, I captained a 90-year-old 60ft steel yawl used for private and corporate events, including weddings and celebrations. I have also skippered charter yachts in the North and Mediterranean Seas and undertaken various yacht deliveries. Additionally, I have hands-on experience in yacht maintenance, repairs, and conversions, particularly in engine maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
