• Hi Good evening with this cover letter i would like to introduce myself.
  I was born in Molfetta Italy 29 June 1984 from my mother Squeo MariAntonia and my father Paparella Antonio. I’m the second of 3 sons, an older brother and a youngest sister.
  Since when i was 12 i start to work during the summer time to provide some money that help my family to buy book and some money for my things.
  I used to work during the high school also as dish washer, waiter and chef de rang in the restaurant or in the Hotel ( of course you will not find about this in my CV some of this jobs was without contract). The 2005 i started the first time to work as Electrician here i learned how to make new electrical systems inside the house and condominium.
  After i took the Diploma as Geometra i started the internship that after 2 years allowed me to be Geometra with Degree.
  During this 2 years, in the morning i followed the internship with engineer without get money just sometime a gift but what save me was the job during the afternoon holiday as tier repair car mechanic (70 Euro per week), as Chief waiter for a restaurant during the holidays (50 to 60 euro per day).
  Once i finished the internship was difficult to go ahead in this field on shore but luky i found job in Saipem this was the first job in the sea but they didn’t renew my contract, find a new job without seaman book was difficult then i took the basic Training Certificate to get my first seaman book the Coast Guard told me that my Diploma and the Master was not good to open it but thanks to my previous job i choose to open it as Electrician.
  I started again to work at sea with Princess as 1st Electrical Fitter improving my skills studying as Electrician.
  In 2018 i quit the job i completed my study 2019 with high evaluation.
  After they didn’t get me on the cruis but my appraisal are higher, so i found job in Micoperi where i was alone with few cadet and no one with experience, this was the right time for me to understand more about the maintenance on the ship:
  About Emergency, Safety, Generator maintenance and parallel ( is all manual there’s no PMS), Spare parts request with report and picture trough outlook. During my time on Micoperi i did the examination in Coast Guard to get IMO COP and after 1 year of navigation i save all the money to get all the advanced certificate (pay buy me) then i was allowed to do another examination to be officer onboard i means the COC IMO.
  During the preparation for the exam i learned about PMS, about IMO organization, about Generator neutral onboard, about switchboard, about I.E.C. standards, about propulsion Ciclo Sincro Pwm, Etc.
  The exam was 1 month ago and my evaluation was 8to10 Electro Technical Competence ; 9 to 10 English write and speaking you can see on the attachments i sent already.
  I’m pretty sure that i did my best.
