I would be very glad to achieve a Captain position on a suitable Yacht managed by Your Company, where I will make best use of my skills, education and professionalism.
With over 17 years of experience in the field of commercial and leisure navigation and over 4 years of experience as a yacht Captain, I have the ability to command, organize, plan and give effective solutions to immediate problems, capabilities that have contributed to my respectful performance at sea. I have also a very good experience in new building projects and reconversion of passenger to yacht ships. As a Staff Captain/Relief Captain I have participated in a major refit of MY Moonlight II which have been transformed from 86 meters to 91.4 meters. As a Captain I have been part in launching of M/Y Constellation ,M/Y Lauren L and M/Y Blue Night.
In terms of contractual longevity, I am committed to long-term contracts based on honesty and professionalism.
My education, knowledge and experience gave me the willingness to understand and meet the most demanding request of my Yacht Owners and Guests. My decisions are always guided by the Safety Limits of the Vessel, her Passengers and Crew. I am able to communicate concisely and accurately with the staff and crewmembers on board and to ensure full compliance with the requests of my Managers and Company. I have developed these skills during my work experience as a seagoing Captain and also as a Project Manager on shore based activities.
I prove an impeccable cleanliness and personal appearance, and I have the same expectations and demands from my Crew, both for themselves and for the Yacht as well. I would also like to mention that I am a Non Drinker, and one of the toughest enemies of the Alcohol within working environments.
As point in my CV I perform Professional Water Sports as Diving, Technical Diving and Swimming, capabilities that also I use on board when requested or when deemed necessary in solving an immediate safety or technical problem.
My logical and friendly nature allows me to interact well with Guests, Crew, Staff members and Managers at all levels. I have been working with Crewmembers of varied nationalities to whom I have managed to inspire collaborative working, motivation and confidence.
