Capacità e competenze

• I had my first experience at sea during a seasonal contract on a sailing vessel in 2013 as deck boy and then I moved to tankers. I have spent almost my entire working career on these vessels since 2015, when I started with the position of deck cadet, becoming third mate in 2018 and second mate in 2020. At the moment I work as Chief Officer on FSIV. I have experience as both safety officer and navigation officer. In addition, I have held the position of Ship Security Officer several times.
  Competenze professionali

  With many years of experience as OOW on ships, I am able to keep a safe navigational watch, with good knowledges of bridge procedures and regulations (e.g. COLREGs). Thanks to my experience as Navigator, I have a great hability in passage planning and pubblications keeping; I am a good ECDIS user too. I'm familiar with ISM procedures and International rules and conventions (like SOLAS, ISPS, etc). Furthermore, I have good skills in boat driving acquired through the years and during my last contract on FSIV.
