    Intended use, area: We had a very busy season, with over 10,000 nautical miles along the Mediterranean Sea with about 5 months with guests on board.
    Role held: Deckhand
    Main Tasks: I had the opportunity to work with an amazing and professional crew, led by a very professional Captain. A very demanding experience that allowed me to improve my skills a lot, both on the bridge and on deck with guests, jet-tenders driving, polishing and varnishing, launching and setup water toys, teak maintenance, vessel pilotage and steering, jet-ski driving, mooring and anchoring operations, harnesses works, gangway watches and security, detailing and lookout during navigation.

    Main Tasks: I joined on M&A's at the end of the season just to bring the yacht from Brindisi, Italy to the Shipyard in Fiumicino, Italy. After the passage, I spent the rest of the contract on a dry dock taking part in a variety of maintenance tasks like cleaning the entire hull and propeller and also preparing the boat for the winter, such as covering all the steel, teak, cleaning and stowage mooring lines and fenders, chain, and anchors cleaning and chain shaft cleaning, etc.

    Main Tasks: During my first job on board a yacht as Deckhand, I learned a lot from my Ch/Mate who had to teach me how to scrub the teak, polishing, how to work with guests, and all the normal routines to keep the boat well-presented all the time. Bowman alone during mooring and anchoring operations.

    Main Tasks: As a third contract aboard Adriatic Princess II I was as Deck Cadet Officer. I was more close to Captain helping him during day and night navigation with look out, helping him with the books and all bridge procedures. During mooring and anchor operations I was at bow alone.

    Intended use, area: M/V Capetan Costis is a Bluk Carrier about 22500 GT.Navigation is carried out in the Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, and Atlantic Ocean.
    Role held: Deck Cadet
    Main Tasks: ISPS Watch, Port Work and Cargo Operations, Paperwork at Sea, Navigation and Lookout. I was able to follow and support the 2nd/Mate both in port and in navigation. With him, we followed the cargo operations, reception of surveyors, agencies and various authorities, ballast control, etc. . . while in navigation we took care of onboard accounting, passage planning, navigation concerns ECDIS updating, pre-departure checklist, SMS, updating of pilot books and charts, writing of logbooks part two and part three as Italian flag rules, constant updating with the shipowner and rental agencies about ship position, ETA, navigation situation and much more. During the arrival and departure maneuvers, I was able to be on the bridge and assist both the pilot and the Ch/Mate with attention to the ECDIS and the indications of the Pilot.

    Main Tasks: As a 2nd contract aboard the Adriatic Pincess, I have always been the deckhand of the boat along with two other deckhands, but with more responsibility as galley manager for the bar and restaurant on board. During the navigation, I was assisting passengers, helping at the bar, and, if necessary, in the galley to help the chefs. During lunchtime, I was at table service. Anyway, I was the jolly of their boat.

    Main Tasks: On my first boat, I was every day together with the Bosun, an old man from whom I learned everything that I think you need to know first of all to work on board any type of boat in safety for your person and the safety of the guest and of course to ensure that the boat is always safe. In the background, he taught me how to make various types of knots, how to make a fast and all the general things that concern the mooring operation in different situations, the anchoring procedures, and how to use well the fenders.
