My name is Chiara, I am Italian 35 years old mermaid; unfortunately born on land with gills. I am highly skilled and motivated, open to new experiences, able to successful work in team, even in hard field conditions, well adaptable to different environments and field works, always willing to expand her capabilities and knowledge. I am fit, strong, healthy and generally happy.
  • Capacità e competenze
First of all, I am a Marine Biologist, my specialization are marine mammals, coral reefs and nutrition. Secondly, I am scuba diving instructor and I have been working all around the world for 10 years. Diving is my passion, I love all kind of underwater conditions, and it is just relax for me! My logbook reports more than 3000 dives... but they aren't never enough! Since recently I began my career as sailor and on yacht charters. I have got the Italian unrestricted nautical license for both power and sailing boats. So far, I do not have many recorded miles as a skipper, but I am a really good mariner and I am always eager to improve my seamanship and experiences at sea. I spent many hours on board of different kind of vessels: a dozen of weekly scientific research cruises aboard a 23 meters long sailing boat; 36 months on a 33 meters long motor yacht as a biologist, safari guide and scuba instructor, as well as boat manager! In addition, I spent entire days doing whale watching on a catamaran, and I logged a few thousands diving trips on different kinds of ship. I have been in love for the sea and its life since I was young !! The ocean is a second nature to me, hence why I really want to work close to it!
  • Capacità relazionali
I love working in contact with people, sharing all of my knowledge and experiences, and learning as much as possible from them.
  • Capacità organizzative
In all my experiences team playing was of paramount importance in order to offer a high quality service to the guests. I always enjoyed meeting new colleagues and getting to know them, and we usually became friend very soon. I am naturally open and sociable, therefore I find myself very well working in teams. Along the years I often replaced and held the operations or boat manager position for some weeks, when they were on holiday; I feel myself confident in leading positions as well.
  • Competenze tecniche
I am computer literate and I can use a number of different softwares.
