Seeking seasonal captains position of sailyacht 20-30m in Italy, France or Spain.
More than 30 years of sailing experience and 10 years as charter yacht captain, the last 8 years in the East Caribbean waters and previously in the Mediterranean Sea and Swedish West Coast.
5 years captain on private vintage classic sail yacht in south of France.
Combining versatile skills ranging from crew management to engine repair and maintenance as well as teaching skills in navigation and sailing acquired during the many challenges a yacht captain faces chartering in the Caribbean.
Started and ran a youth sailing programme in the island of Bequia in the Grenadines 2011- 2012. The Bequia Youth Sailing Programme is still running and became members of World Sailing (former ISAF) 2016.
5 years experience of sailing in the northwestern Mediterranean, Mallorca, Menorca, S. France, St Tropez to Monaco, Corse, Sardegna and West Italy in the Elba and Monte Argentario area.
In May 2021 completed the restoration of my Nicholson 70 sailyacht 22 meters and sailed from Italy across the Atlantic to the East Caribbean to arrive January 2022
