My passion for sea and boats started when I was a young boy, my dream being to go around the world with a sailing boat. I think that this kind of passion is one of the keys to do this job well; another one is the pleasure to visit different places and meet people from different cultures.
I like diving, snorkeling, surfing, sailing regattas, go-karting, outdoor recreation, travels, cooking, reading, Oriental philosophy, meditation.
Capacità e competenze
I'm an experienced deckhand and RYA Coastal Skipper, working for several seasons in 2009-2017 as a skipper on 12-16 mt SouthTyrrenian-based charter sailing yachts. I owned and chartered a 44ft old classic sailing vessel in 2014-16. I did regattas with Platu 25 and Azurree 20, as well as X-402 Yacht.
Last 2 seasons in Malta on a Sunseeker Manhattan 70 MY as a mate.
Capacità relazionali
I always do all I can to support the crew and manage to see our guests smiling at the end of the charter. I like to work with my crew as a team-player, my attitude towards my colleagues is positive, flexible and helpful.
Capacità organizzative
As a sailing skipper on mono hulls or catamarans I set up itineraries and navigation for my guests.
Competenze tecniche
I have a good experience on deck job: cleaning and detaling outside as well as polishing, anchoring, mooring, driving the dinghy, taking care of our guests as well as helping the stewardess in the interior. Working 16/18 hours per day during a charter is not a problem.
