    I started sailing aboard a tug boats around 2016 with an Italian company called Augustea and after 1.5 years I started sailing aboard an AHTS ship with another company "Finarge". I am a good navigator and I like to work in a team! I would like a good job with a chance to grow and improve my skills.
  • Capacità e competenze
    I am: an excellent navigator; very good at maneuvering the Tug boat (A.S.D. and Tractor), Rescue boats and Work boats; very familiar with RADAR, E.C.D.I.S., A.I.S., G.M.D.S.S equipment (with the suitable international procedures to communicate Ship to ship and ship to shore), LOAD MASTER, D.P. SYSTEM, V.D.R., G.P.S. or D.G.P.S., ECO SOUNDER, LOG and other navigational bridge arrangements; practical with the ordinary and special maintenance of the ship and the control of its outfitting (as expected by SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM) I know how: To use the main routing systems, MARPOL, I.A.L.A., S.A.R., Paris Mou, M.L.C., I.S.P.S., S.T.C.W. 95, I.M.D.G. CODE, B.W.M. SOLAS; To Study and understand of the technical characteristics of the vessel as the propulsive and maneuvering means to obtain the best result from the standard mooring/unmooring operation to the maneuvers for keeping the vessel out dangers and saving fuel and time; To make a voyage plan planning in accordance with SOLAS and B.M.G; to use the main instruments such as magnetic compass, gyro compass, Decca, Loran C, sextant and G.P.S. to get at any time the fix (Vessel position); to Brief the crew members about any action to take in emergency for preventing additional damage to the vessel and saving their life; to use the Main and secondary Winch and Crane (Telescopic and 360°); to make a support during the mooring/unmooring operation; to get a best cargo plan; to use the Standard Marine communication phrases to avoid miss understand or close quarter situations; to get a Claire communication with pilot, port authority and linesman; to carry out all emergency management such as abandonment of ship, fire on board, man overboard or general emergencies (flooding, grounding, etc.); to best use the different types of firefighting systems (Fixed and Mobile) for the different cases; to Check and work out gyro and magnetic compass errors; to use the Nautical and tides tables, to solve nautical problems; to Use of the main IMO FAL FORMS;

    To KEEP A SAFETY NAVIGATION in comply with COLREG, IALA, SOLAS, MARPOL and other main international convention; Familiarize myself with the procedures of Safety management system and comply with same; To Assist the Chief Officer and master during drills; To keep cargo, watch in port as per direction of chief officer and as per applicable rules & regulations; to maintain all meteorological equipment and logs and ensure dispatch of weather reports from vessel on regular basis; to maintain in good order all flags signaling equipment, regulation lights and shapes; To prepare the Voyage Plan by Bridge Procedures Guide and all relative Nautical publications; Conduct maintenance procedures for life saving and firefighting equipment, cargo system on board under direction of Chief Officer; Conduct inventory of LSA, FFA, cargo system spares and stores maintained on board as directed; To assist Chief Officer to make the cargo plan; Conduct Procedures and Test to ensure functional reliability of critical equipment and system, as directed; Compliance with the Company’s documented safety and security Procedures; To use all GMDSS equipment (VHF, MH, HF, INMARSAT C, E.P.I.R.B., S.A.R.T); Carry out emergency duties as per emergency response and procedures and as directed by command and control. Compliance with applicable port, terminal and dock safety regulations; Assist Chief Officer in day-to-day work with regard to ship’s operation routine duties and preparation of reports and returns as required; To maneuver with Rescue boat or work boat for Personnel Transfer and drills; To comply with applicable rules of STCW convention; To prepare handing over notes along with handling over report while signing off the vessel; To acquaint himself and prepare for the rank above; To identify and report non-conformities and near misseshazardous occurrences and as per procedures defined within this Safety Management System; To control of hospital and all Vessel’s medicinal boxes and medicines; To Organize the board inventory;
