    I challenge myself to improving my knowledge standing close with who is more experienced than me and so being motivated on getting good results from it. Practicing only quality people. I attended the Nautical Institute College of Pozzallo. Than, I tested out with the Italian Shipping Accademy of Genova where I had succeed. So that, I attended the Accademy for 3 years and I had my Cadet experience for 12 months on Costa Cruises' ships before obtaining my CoC. My ambitions is to become Captain.

    What I acquired during my worklife at sea and that I consider a key on doing this job is to always keep calm in difficult times , specially when I work under pressure. A calm behaviour allows me to make the right decision because It enables you to gathering as much informations as possible to aid in my final decision, and not be scared on do It.
  • Soft skills
    Always gets things done and tidying up all the loose ends by the help of the team. Working effectively by supporting personal relationships . I'm always inspired to use BRM techniques in order to detect any mistakes and create a functional work network within the group..
  • Organizational skills
    I'm used to work efficiently respecting the deadlines of the most important things for first, that could impact the safety and the correcting functioning operations of the ship. I usually organize myself the day before, so as to have a schematic vision on what will be my job on the day after. If necessary I ask someone for help.
  • Technical skills
    I got the European Informatics Passport and so good skills on use the Office Package. I'm fluent to use the NACOS Platinum system for appraisal, planning, execution and monitoring of the route. I'm good with Sam1100, too. I'm familiar with the modern electronic equipments usually found in the Bridge. I'm familiar with the Fire fighting and fire prevention systems, like Consilium. I worked with the NAPA system, for Stability. I worked with Azipod Proprulsion System and with variable pitch propellers.
