I am a 33 years old Chief Steward; I started my professional life in hospitality industry 14 years ago in my native town Constanta in one of the most luxury restaurant in Romania Marco Polo5*, learning and improving my service and communications skills. I spent the last 7 years working at sea, 2 years as a Bar waiter and I was promoted Bartender on a cruise ships such as MSC Sinfonia 5* and MSC Divina 5* Ocean Liner since 1979. For 1 year I was Head Bartender on Sea Chefs River Company. For 1 year Bartender and I was promoted Bar Manager in a finest luxury Rivers Line Viking River Cruises in all this time I develop my culinary service, bar cocktails, wine knowledge dealing with guests from all over the world and different social classes from average to very high class guests.
I joined the Yachting industry in 2015 as a Senior Steward on board the luxury motor yacht Christina O. Where I have to work to the highest hospitality level offering quality services (silver service, carving board and wine service). In 2016 winter season I was promoted as Chief Steward, throughout all these years I proved to my superiors and the owner of ChristinaO that I am a hard worker, a fast learner, a very good team player who always gets along with his colleagues, and a person who pays attention to small details during service. I am looking for a permanent or temporary position as I would like to continue to develop my career within the hospitality industry. I believe I have the food, wine knowledge, service and management skills to accomplish this.
